Signal Filtering Lab
Practice rejecting weak signals with written rules before any entry note reaches your journal.
Who it suits
Students who already recognize common indicator patterns but still keep a long list of “almost” entries. The lab assumes you can identify a basic RSI divergence or MACD cross; we focus on which ones deserve ink.
What happens in the room
You work through a stack of historical signal cards. For each card you must either:
- Accept the signal with a one-line reason, or
- Reject it using a filter rule written before the candle is revealed
Peers challenge soft rejections. The facilitator keeps the pace honest when the group wants to “wait and see.”
Included and excluded
Included: signal card deck for the evening, rejection-rule worksheet, facilitator scoring of consistency across your ten decisions. Excluded: live brokerage, signal subscription services, or guarantees about future trades.
Delivery
Held as a 2.5-hour evening lab in Bangkok. Capacity is ten seats so every rejection gets heard. Bring a short list of the alerts that usually push you into a position.
